Last weekend, my lovely niece, Angelina, married her sweetheart Josh in Virginia. I was so lucky to be able to go and share the day with them! It was such a pretty ceremony. She looks so beautiful and we all had a great time!
Sweet baby Raegan! What a lovebug!
Sweet baby Anela! I got to meet her for the first time! I was thrilled that she and Raegan allowed me to hold and play with them. They weren't scared or shy at all. You never know how a baby will act and they were so great! I even got some kisses! (melt)
Jacob decided to grab a present out from under Grandmama and Grampa's tree. He got just enough paper off to be able to say, "There's a truck in there!". Needless to say, they let him go on and open it. He had a ball with those 4 trucks all weekend!
The weather is cooling off and I am so busy it's CRAZY! This weekend I will be at Montgomery Intermediate's Shopping Extravaganza! Come on by and look around. I hear it will be a great event! I will have my usual items, plus the two new skirts below that have matching tops, and some fun new sparkly flip flops. When I get some pics, I will post them.
Here are a couple of new skirts that I am making and putting in the shop. I love the combo of the floral and bold animal print and black and white. Let me know what you think! I am excited about them, major twirl factor, two layers of twirl factor! Giddy up girls!
We had some nice fall weather over the weekend. It rained a little here and there, but we escaped the rain long enough for the girls to perform tap numbers at a festival on Saturday! It was Ella's first performance and she was something else! The first thing she said when she woke up was, "I'm ready to dance on the stage!". Here she is with her class!
Here's Maleah, "I don't want to do it Mom!" . She did great and loved every minute of it!
Don't you love the hair???? Yes, it's a piece!
Here's Rylee Grace! That girl can shake it! She was the best!
I have been gone for a while! It's been busy around here and I feel like I am spinning my wheels! I am getting ready for some upcoming holiday shows and I have been filling the occasional order. I also made some stuff for my own kids! Here's Ella showing some good oral hygiene in a new outfit that she wore for about 6 days straight! I guess she likes it! (I did wash it in between!) This is a donation for Sacred Heart School's Octoberfest.
Birthday gift for Maleah's friend!
This was an order for a first birthday! I thought it turned out cute! It was fun to put it together!
Hopefully, I will get to a post tomorrow. The girls danced at a festival over the weekend and I have some good pictures!
Ella started school this past week. We were unsure how she would do being left all day. She pleasantly surprised us and did great! Not even a whimper when I left! She had a great time and is looking forward to going back next week. I thought I had a picture of her with her teacher, Miss Heather, but I didn't get one! That will have to come later.
Here is Maleah that same day in a new top I made her. I ate lunch with her that day and all the little girls were complimenting her on it! It's definitely one of my favorites!
Yesterday, Maleah started first grade at a new school! She was very excited, but a bit nervous. She did just great though. Here she is at her desk. She was disappointed that the desks were pushed together like a table. She didn't feel like she had her own desk! This is her teacher! She seems to be very sweet and other parents have told us she's an excellent teacher!
Ella was excited also. She begins next week!
Getting ready for the day with lots of hugs from Mom and Dad.
I made her this skirt for the first day. I think it turned out so cute. Major twirl factor!
I had to take this picture! Isn't it so cute? I want you all to know there is not a diaper underneath that pretty little dress! Ella is officially a big girl! Fancy Nancy would be proud! (She has her ankles crossed, not wonky feet)
Messy, but cute.
Taking turns jumping off the stool.
Daddy would be having a heart attack!
School starts on Monday, so there is some excitement around here. I've been sewing up some school wardrobes! Pictures to come!
I am the mom of two of the sassiest little girls ever and married to one hot tamale. I love to be creative. I like to sew, cook, take pictures and try new crafty things. I love hot tea, french fries and sweet little kisses from my girls. My life is great and very richly blessed. I started this blog so that family living far away could keep up with our goings on and feel close to us.
