The First Day of First Grade

Yesterday, Maleah started first grade at a new school! She was very excited, but a bit nervous. She did just great though. Here she is at her desk. She was disappointed that the desks were pushed together like a table. She didn't feel like she had her own desk! This is her teacher! She seems to be very sweet and other parents have told us she's an excellent teacher!

Ella was excited also. She begins next week!

I had to take this picture! Isn't it so cute? I want you all to know there is not a diaper underneath that pretty little dress! Ella is officially a big girl! Fancy Nancy would be proud! (She has her ankles crossed, not wonky feet)
