Rolled Rose Headband

I made this little headband to go with a t shirt for a birthday gift.  I thought it turned out pretty cute!
You can get the tutorial for the roses here.
I covered a plastic headband with a scrap strip of the fabric.  Before attatching the roses, I cut a circle of fabric and glued it to the back of the roses.  Then I glued the roses to the headband.  You can make the whole thing from scrap fabric.  These are cute to attatch to hair clips, pins and even necklaces too!

I'm linking up with Gay for Hodgepodge Friday!  There are some fun ideas over there, so go check them out!

Your daughters must LOVE you! Mine would! I've done some simpler barrettes for her...but I couldn't tackle anything like this. Andrea, you could sell these. Mothers (like me) are always looking for pretty girlie-girlie things!

Did you get a new header? Or am I losing my mind? At any rate, it's so cute!

I agree. Your daughters must ask you all of the time to make them stuff - that is so cute! You can make so many of them to match all of their outfits!!!

Oh I love this!!! I've been wanting to try Sandi's flowers just haven't gotten to it yet. Where did you find the plastic headbands? I haven't run across kid sized ones yet (that aren't already embellished).
